Welcome to Monarch Tackle!

Thank you for your interest in our products. Our family of Lures and Tackle initially arrived on the Muskie scene in 1985 in Northern Wisconsin when Lure Designer Pete Hensel first introduced the Muskie Monarch.
The Muskie Monarch proved to be an effective and popular lure amongst local anglers. Pete subsequently developed additional lures and tackle-related items.
Monarch Tackle, Inc. is honored to carry on the tradition started by Pete in 1985. We are proud to feature his designs in our line of lures, tackle, and accessories. So whether you’re an old friend or just getting acquainted with us, we welcome you to Monarch Tackle and encourage you to include our family of lures and tackle in your fishing arsenal.
Once again, we thank you and wish you success in all your fishing endeavors.
The Monarch Concept:
Predator fish species (muskie, northern, bass) locate their prey mainly by their sense of sight and vibration. These fish are excited by, and home in on, vibrations produced by swimming or floundering prey.
The predator visually locates its prey by seeing the contrast of a dark silhouette on a light background or light against dark. Monarch Lures are designed to take advantage of vibration, dark/light contrast, and maximum silhouette.
